MMairo Side Tables<Blue Sodalite marble Totem by Karen Chekerdjian

Totem is not a work of design, but a search for balance between fullness and emptiness, between heaviness and lightness. Intuition leads to desire, which generates an idea. Totem remains essential. Three simple geometric shapes, stacked in varying sequences, like bricks. Playing the game recalls the effortless act towards spiritual harmony, between functionality and futility, between form and the absence of form. Every piece is unique.
